Gigi Lamayne Graces Audiomack Africa’s Women of AmaPiano Cover Following “Imnandi Lento” Release

Gigi Lamayne has consistently refused to be boxed into a single corner of the South African music ecosystem. Having carved an indelible mark on SA Hip Hop with lyrical dominance and competitive freestyle prowess, she has now taken center stage in the Amapiano space as the official cover star of Audiomack Africa's 'Women of AmaPiano' playlist.

The recognition follows the runaway success of her single 'Imnandi Lento', a track that pairs her sharp, rhythmic vocal cadence with infectious private school piano chords. The record has crossed millions of global streams, finding strong rotation in Nigeria, Kenya, Ghana, and the UK.

"Women have been the spine of Amapiano from day one—our voices, our melodies, our dances," Gigi Lamayne stated in a press dispatch. "Being honored on this cover is a testament to what happens when you follow your creative instinct instead of letting industry gatekeepers tell you what genre you belong in."

With a new collaborative EP slated for early next quarter, Gigi Lamayne continues to demonstrate how South African artists can navigate multiple genres without sacrificing identity or quality.
